VoD movie platform Viewster is to partner fast growing Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer Hisense, in a deal giving the movie content provider powerful market entries to both Australia and Latin America.
Hisense manufactures an extensive range of appliances and electronics, and its products have been sold in more than 130 countries and regions.

The company has grown at around 30 percent over each of the last five years, and is an ideal partner to help us take Viewster to South America and Australia."
Hisense's rapid growth has seen it establish 13 manufacturing facilities to date in its native China, with further plants manufacturing overseas.
As a key content partner to Hisense, Viewster will see its on-demand movie and TV app included on Hisense manufactured models extending all the way up to 55 inch, 3D enabled LED TVs, and on sale in global territories that, in addition to Latin America and Australia, include South America and North America.
Inclusion on Hisense manufactured models on sale in Europe is set to follow in the coming months.
